Join the server
Open the developer console in HL2DM and type:
connect 144.2.105.179:27015
Or find [EU] La Croziade in the server browser. All custom maps download instantly from our own FastDL.
The server runs at 100 tick: lerp is your choice: cl_interp 0 and cl_interp_ratio 0 give 0 ms on a clean line,
ratio 1 or 2 if you see loss or choke in net_graph.
In-game commands
!fov 70-110 | field of view (saved forever) |

!nominate | opens a menu of the maps you can nominate right now, or
!nominate <map> to nominate directly (part of the name is enough). Any installed map
can be nominated if it is on FastDL and was not played recently; rotation maps come first in the menu.
When a map is refused the server always tells you why (not on FastDL yet, played recently, a vote is

Bloodlust
Get 10 kills without dying and you enter Bloodlust: the whole server hears the
Bloodlust sound and the chat announces your name. Whoever ends your streak gets announced too.

The ranking
Every kill is an ELO duel: beating a stronger player pays a lot, farming weaker ones pays almost nothing. Your first 50 engagements are silent placements; your first 100 use a fast K-factor so your rank finds your real level quickly, then it stabilizes. Ranks go from Iron to Radiant (1480+) and show as a colored tag in the game chat.
